Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Engineering Design Manager with a strong background in aircraft interior design to support a growing aerospace engineering services organization in Wichita, KS. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering long-term stability and growth potential. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage a team of 3 design engineers supporting aircraft interior projects • Oversee project timelines, design quality, and workflow coordination • Ensure design deliverables meet client specifications and aerospace industry standards • Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to ensure feasibility and compliance • Provide hands-on design support as needed to meet project deadlines • Review and approve technical drawings and models • Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders and clients Required Qualifications • Direct experience in aircraft interior design (required) • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (strongly preferred) or CATIA • Prior experience leading or managing technical/design teams • Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on design work • Strong organizational and communication skills • Comfortable working onsite in Wichita, KS • U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder

Greensboro, NC | Contract | 12+ Months The designer will create innovative interior and exterior product solutions that communicate a clear brand identity and meet project requirements. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to take concepts from sketch through to production, while mentoring junior designers and contributing to the overall design direction. • Portfolio required (include link or samples with application). • Strong ability to articulate design value and rationale in a technical/business context.

Job Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • At least one year of basic carpentry or related experience • Ability to work from sketches or 3D models • Proficiency with drills, belt, disc, drum sanders, and other common hand tools and equipment • Physical ability to install carpets, headliners, window panels, PSUs, cabinet assemblies, cushions, seats, tables and related components • Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation • Capability to work in standing condition and repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
