Social Media Manager

Design for the PPL is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Manager to own and elevate our social presence across brand and founder channels. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to blend storytelling, strategy, and aesthetics, translating a luxury interior design brand into compelling, culturally relevant content that drives both engagement and sales. As Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day planning, creation, and execution of social content across all platforms, while working closely with our founder and Studio + Marketing Director to capture the brand, personality and elevated design POV of Design for the PPL. Responsibilities • Own and manage social media presence for all social profilesacross Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn • Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar that balances brand storytelling, interior design expertise, behind-the-scenes content, team and client spotlights, and sales-driving content • Schedule and publish posts across all platforms during optimal times of engagement, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with brand voice • Lead community engagement, including responding to comments and DMs, fostering conversation, and nurturing our audience • Participate in weekly filming including preparing prompts, talking points, and content direction to maximize shoot efficiency and output • Create and maintain a cohesive visual identity across platforms, aligned with Design for the PPL brand standards and aesthetic • Design and edit graphics, visuals, and short-form video content, ensuring a polished, elevated look and feel • Collaborate closely with the team to support and showcase design projects, services, events, and showroom moments through social • Engage in special marketing projects on a weekly basis Qualifications • 1–3 years of hands-on experience managing social media for brands or creators, with examples • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn, including platform-specific best practices • Proficiency in content editing platforms ; comfort editing short-form video and designing social graphics • Experience working with lifestyle, home, fashion, or design-driven brands, with a clear understanding of how social supports sales • Excellent videography and photography skills, visual sensibility and attention to detail • Confident communicator who can collaborate closely with a founder and translate ideas into content • Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple platforms and deadlines
