This role focuses specifically on the design, sourcing, and procurement of furniture, fixtures, and accessories—not on building detailing or architectural drafting.This position is ideal for a designer passionate about materiality, furnishings, and creating immersive environments. It is not a technical drafting role, but familiarity with reviewing FF&A shop drawings and producing relevant documentation is essential.Responsibilities:Lead the selection, sourcing, and specification of furniture, lighting, art, accessories, and soft goods.Manage custom furniture and millwork design intent, including documentation and coordination with fabricators.Review FF&A shop drawings for quality, consistency, and design integrity.Develop and maintain FF&A specification books and procurement schedules.Coordinate with clients, vendors, fabricators, and contractors throughout all project phases.Create presentation boards, mood materials, and support documentation.Collaborate with the architectural team to ensure cohesive interior and exterior concepts.Support project budgets and timelines related to FF&A deliverables.Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of post-graduate, U.S.-based professional experience, preferably in luxury residential or hospitality design.Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field preferred (equivalent professional experience will be considered).Strong knowledge of FF&A sourcing, specifications, and documentation standards.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and FF&A-related software/tools.Highly organized, communicative, and collaborative.Experience reviewing shop drawings and producing detailed FF&A documentation.Familiarity with Revit is a plus (not required).At Daniel Joseph Chenin Ltd., we create immersive environments celebrating craftsmanship, storytelling, and a strong sense of place.
