The ability to assist with a comprehensive and balanced curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a warm and friendly attitude with a sincere desire to see students succeed in the Interior Design industry by encouraging innovative design, critical thinking, and effective communication.Part-time (20 hours per week) with flex hours between on-campus and remote work, Tuesday and Thursday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, and 4 hours remote work as needed to support students. Licensed by OBPVS.Teaching Duties & Responsibilities:Teach all interior design subjects as assignedCounsel students in a professional manner, offering constructive, encouraging, and timely feedbackAdhere to curriculum expectations to ensure accreditation standards are metPerform a variety of instructional assistance, tutoring, and related support functions as needed;Tutor students as necessary on campus and remotelyDocument grades and attendance timely, post to transcript accordingly, maintain a working knowledge of CanvasProvide students with individualized or small group assistance, guidance, and study strategies for the developmentand improvement of basic skillsSend welcome email to students on your roster two days before the scheduled start of class if applicableParticipate actively in online course discussions, ensuring that all students are participating and interacting with one another.
