Errands - if running an errand for a designer - ask all designers in advance of leaving the office if they have anything for you to do while you are out. Sample area - empty and put away all samples in the basket each day. Attend client meetings (when previously arranged by the designer) take notes, observe and assist afterwards with checking stock and availability of materials. Determine which designer placed the order from the packaging slip if possible. Reach out to vendors/suppliers and ask that they come in and update their sample library.
