The role of a designer is to conduct business by drawing sketches and creating layout plans that present company goals. You will be responsible for creating within a budget while implementing plans that improve traffic flow and work productivity. • Develop 3D models using computer aided design software • Recommend materials, finishes and layout solutions to meet clients’ requirements • Create a mood board and preliminary plans for review by client • Ensure client’s expectations are met by following up on progress of the project • Design spaces that are functional, aesthetic and capable of fulfilling clients’ needs • Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills • Ability to apply a sense of style to create aesthetically pleasing interiors • Strong visual design skills including proportion and aesthetics • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proficient use of computer-aided design (CAD) software. Education and Experience: • Bachelors degree in Interior Design or related field required; coursework in computer-aided design (CAD) and 3D software required • Interior design certification highly preferred • At least one year of related experience required
