The Interior Designer will create functional, ergonomic, and aesthetically pleasing spaces by assessing space requirements, determining optimal furniture placement, and selecting decorative items, all while adhering to brand identity, relevant blueprint, building code, and inspection requirements.
We are seeking a talented Interior Designer with a strong marketing background to join our dynamic team. This unique role blends creativity with strategic thinking, allowing you to design innovative interiors while also spearheading marketing initiatives to promote our design projects and services. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for design, and the ability to effectively communicate and market our brand.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and present creative design concepts for residential and commercial projects.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and preferences.
• Create detailed design plans, including layout, color schemes, furnishings, and finishes.
• Source and select materials, furnishings, and décor elements.
• Oversee project implementation, ensuring designs are executed to the highest standard and within budget.
Marketing and Promotion:
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote interior design projects and services.
• Create compelling content for various marketing channels, including social media, newsletters, and the company website.
• Coordinate with graphic designers and marketing teams to produce promotional materials.
• Manage and update the company’s portfolio, showcasing completed projects and client testimonials.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth and promotion.
Client Engagement:
• Conduct presentations and client meetings to communicate design concepts and marketing initiatives.
Project Management:
• Oversee all phases of interior design projects, from concept development to final execution.
• Coordinate with internal teams, headquarter, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Manage project budgets and schedules, addressing any issues or changes promptly.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Interior Designer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Experience in marketing, including content creation, social media management, and campaign development.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite) and marketing tools (e.g., CRM systems, analytics platforms).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPX)
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design ideas and marketing strategies effectively.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and trends.
Preferred Skills:
• Certification or licensing in interior design.
• Experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of current design trends and marketing best practices.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to apply a sense of style to create aesthetically pleasing interiors
• Strong visual design skills including proportion and aesthetics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong understanding of building codes and inspection regulations related to interiors
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
• Must be able to distinguish between colors
