Position Overview: Licensed Interior Designer; manages projects and leads team, participates in design control of projects, and is responsible for project budget management. Initiates and creates project designs and plans of all phases of one or more projects and has responsibility for preparing presentation and design drawings. • Participates in the design control of projects in the design development, documentation, specification, and supervision phases. • Provides direction to lower-level interior designers, including serving as the primary supervisor for those within the department as determined by the Director of Project Management and Executive team. The Interior Design Associate will gain hands-on experience throughout the phases of design with a focus on supporting project teams in design creation and documentation, preparing presentation materials, and researching materials and finishes, all while adhering to high aesthetic standards and sustainability goals. There is opportunity to move into a project manager role and direct their own projects. · Work with the Design & Build team to create innovative solutions for tenants moving into and/or revising the footprint of their space within the Robinson Park portfolio of properties · Communicate effectively with clients as required · Preference will be given to Interior Design candidates who have passed or who are pursuing NCIDQ certification and have 2-4 years of experience working in an architecture firm.
