What does a Kitchen & Bath Designer do at Silver Lake Cabinetry? Your responsibilities would include: Product Sales & DesignCollaborate with clients to design and sell:CabinetryFixturesCountertopsHardwareCabinet Installation (when requested)Build in-depth product knowledge across all lines we carryPerform accurate job-site measurementsProvide quotes and proposals to clientsFollow up and close salesGenerate cabinet orders and submit them to our Order FacilitatorNote: While the Order Facilitator provides a secondary review, Designers are ultimately responsible for order accuracyMaintain communication with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction What You Bring to the Team: Required QualificationsAt least 3 years of kitchen & bath design experienceProficiency with 2020 Design or Revit BIM softwareAbility to create:As-built drawingsDetailed floor plans and elevations for kitchen and bath projectsFamiliarity with cabinetry pricing to achieve a specified profit marginKeen attention to detail from concept through completionCompetence in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work independently with strong organizational skillsStrong written, verbal and visual communication skillsReliable transportation and a good driving recordAbility to work 5 days/week, 8-hour shifts, Tuesday through SaturdayWillingness to undergo a background check“Nice to Have” QualificationsNKBA CertificationExperience with Chief ArchitectFamiliarity with working alongside local contractors/developersWhat we Offer:Hourly Rate + Commission:On average our Designers earn a yearly income between $50,000 - $80,000$22.00 - $28.00/hour (based on experience)Plus commission on sold jobsHealth Insurance with a $500 monthly employer contribution7 Paid Holidays5 days PTO in your 1st year401(k), with a 50% company match (up to 5% of your pay)Paid Parental LeaveCompany paid Term Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment InsuranceCompany Profit-Sharing PlanA workplace culture that values your contributionsA fun and rewarding work environment!
