We suggest you enter details here. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Interior Designer, located in Lowell, MA. The Assistant Interior Designer will be responsible for assisting in space planning, creating construction drawings, and supporting interior design projects. Qualifications • Skills in Space Planning and Interior Design • Experience with Architecture and creating Construction Drawings • Knowledge of selecting and coordinating Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) • Strong organizational and project management skills • Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field • Previous experience in residential or commercial design projects is a plus

Employees must meet and sustain IRS telework eligibility requirements (e.g., reporting at least twice a pay period to your assigned Post of Duty (POD)) and supervisor's approval to participate in the IRS Telework Program. Specialized experience for this position includes: • Experience that required the performance of work concerned with the design and alteration of interior spaces to meet functional and aesthetic needs such as: • Identifying, researching, and creatively solving problems pertaining to the function and quality of the interior environment. • Preparing drawings and documents relative to the design of interior spaces in order to enhance and protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public. A copy of your transcripts or equivalent documentation is required for positions with an education requirement, or if you are qualifying based on education or a combination of education and experience. If the position has specific education requirements and you currently hold, or have previously held, a position in the same job series with the IRS, there is no need to submit a transcript or equivalent at this time.

As an Interior Designer, you’ll work on conference, training, and open plan commercial projects with our national network of independent reps and furniture dealers. While every day is unique, there is a general narrative to your work • Pulling new project requests from our design queue, thoroughly reviewing the request, and email/phone communication with the requestor to fully define the need • Generating design solutions that support the Enwork brand promise as well as providing the solutions, price point option, and drawings/renderings that will win the day • Many projects require your continued support as the proposal gains traction and turns into a viable customer solution • Offices are located in Lowell, Michigan, no travel required.
