Yacht Interior Designer/Design Assistant

In this position, you will be responsible for aiding in material selection, creating estimates, placing orders, coordinating with vendors, and much more. You will work closely with the Design Principal to ensure the successful completion of projects. Yacht Next is a small company that has... a friendly and positive work environment with many great benefits. ```Responsibilities``` - Develop design concepts and present them to clients for approval - Select furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials that align with the design concept - Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and furnishings - Oversee the installation of design elements and provide on-site support as needed - Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to project timelines and budgets ```Requirements``` - Proven experience as an Interior Designer or similar role - Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft programs, and QuickBooks - Project management skills to oversee the entire design process from concept to installation - Positive attitude Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) matching • Employee discount Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday Ability to Relocate: • Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
