Warehouse Receiving Manager for Interior Design Firm

Warehouse Receiving Manager Our award-winning Annapolis based Interior Design firm is seeking a FULL-TIME Warehouse Receiving Manager. We are looking for a committed candidate who THRIVES in a fast-paced team environment. The ideal candidate will be located at our Capitol Heights warehouse and have warehouse experience, receiving and inspecting a wide variety of furniture and home products. He/she will be verifying shipments, reporting damages, scanning items into inventory and locating them in the warehouse racks. He/she will communicate with designers, accounting and other team members regarding all aspects of inventory items in preparation for off-site client installations. Requirements: • Must possess physical strength relative to the movement of heavy, cumbersome and fragile material of at least 100 lbs. • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and use of computer-based inventory software • Effective oral and written communication skills. • Project a professional demeanor at all times. • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check. • Must be able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to become forklift certified. Required Education • High school diploma or equivalent, required • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred. • Forklift certification, preferred.
