About this role

The San Joaquin Delta College is seeking experienced and qualified adjunct faculty members to teach interior design courses. As an adjunct professor, you will be responsible for teaching up to 10 units per semester in the interior design discipline, maintaining expertise in current teaching methods and technology, and evaluating student progress. To be eligible for this position, you must have a bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field and two years of professional experience, or an associate's degree in interior design or a related field and six years of professional experience. We are looking for candidates who possess excellent communication skills, are sensitive to diverse backgrounds, and have experience in using Chief Architect software. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to adapt teaching strategies to different levels of students' abilities and learning styles, as well as the ability to work with business and industry to coordinate educational programs with community needs.
