About the Job We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Assistant Professor of Practice in Interior Design to join our team. This position will involve teaching undergraduate interior design courses, participating in departmental meetings, advising students, and engaging with the academic and professional communities. The successful candidate will have a Master's or PhD degree in Interior Design or a related field and at least 3 years of teaching experience in a college or university setting. Key Responsibilities This role requires the ability to teach in one or more of the following areas: design studio course, interior materials, lighting and color, professional practice, drawing techniques, interior history, and design software. The candidate must be proficient in several design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Photoshop. They should also be able to work effectively with students in lecture and studio settings, face-to-face as well as online, providing support and critical feedback on their instruction and evaluation of student work.
