Join Our Team! We are seeking a talented and dedicated Adjunct Associate Professor of Interior Design to join our faculty at San Joaquin Delta College. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experiences of our students and contributing to the growth and development of our Interior Design program. About the Job The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field and two years of professional experience, or an Associate's degree in Interior Design or a related field and six years of professional experience. They will be sensitive to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students. Key Responsibilities • Teach and mentor students in Interior Design courses, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. • Develop and implement effective lesson plans, incorporating technology and multimedia resources as needed. • Evaluate student progress, provide feedback, and guide students towards achieving stated course objectives. • Contribute to curriculum development, revision, and assessment, ensuring program relevance and effectiveness. Salary and Benefits Estimated salary range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
