Summer Interior Design Trainee

Internship Objectives: The objectives of this internship are to provide students with hands-on experience in the field of interior design, gain familiarity with associated design technologies, and develop strong communication and organizational skills. As an Interior Design Summer Intern, you will assist our designers and project managers with various aspects of the design process, including concept development, finish selection, lighting, and furniture specification. You will also participate in design meetings, create electronic and physical finish boards, and maintain and organize our finish library. Responsibilities: • Assist designers and project managers with various aspects of the design process • Participate in design meetings to gain insight into the design process • Create high-quality electronic and physical finish boards to communicate design concepts • Maintain and organize our finish library to ensure efficient access to design materials • Gain familiarity with associated design technologies such as Revit, InDesign, Sketchup, and other software Requirements: To be considered for this internship, you should be currently attending an accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in interior design or architecture. You should also possess strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop, is also required.
