Summer 2024 - Interior Design Intern in GAC Savannah Unique Skills... Currently enrolled in college working towards an Interior Design or Interior Architecture degree. This is a Summer in person internship to work 40 hours a week for at least 12 weeks. The internship will be May/June - August/September 2024. The position will be posted until 2/28/2024, and you will be contacted if you are selected for an interview. Knowledge of design principles, color science, textile, carpet, and leather techniques. • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide effective assistance with presentations (sample boards, renderings, drawings) of aircraft design concepts incorporating customers requirements to achieve marketing objectives and to meet all FAA requirements • Interface with interior design to develop effective presentations for aircraft refurbishments and/or completions. • Assist in coordinating all fabric material inquiries and reserves to check for availability for assigned aircraft • Organize, prepare, distribute and file materials and data to help establish and maintain effective communication and information systems within the design department. • Support completion design as required. Additional Functions: 1. Maintain organization and cleanliness of sample library Education and Experience Requirements: • Currently seeking an associates degree and above in Interior Design or Interior Architecture in a full time capacity. • Graduating after August 2024. • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher at the time of application. • Must have reliable transportation to and from work for the duration of the internship. • Be available to work in person 40 hours a week for 12 weeks from May/June to August/September 2024. Minimum Experience Requirements: • Knowledge of design principles, color science, textile, carpet and leather techniques. • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
