Studio Assistant at Architecture / Interior Design Studio Location: Hybrid/Remote / New Orleans, LA Job Type: Part-time/Contract Start Date: Immediate About Us We are a boutique interior design and architecture firm specializing in bespoke residential and small-scale commercial projects. Our studio blends creative vision with a highly collaborative process to craft spaces that are thoughtful, refined, and deeply personal. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Studio Assistant to support our growing team. Position Overview The Studio Assistant plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the studio, with responsibilities spanning procurement, organization, marketing, and design support. This is a growth-oriented position ideal for someone with a strong interest in interior design and architecture who is eager to learn the inner workings of a design studio—from sourcing materials to developing presentations to supporting on social media and marketing. Key Responsibilities Procurement & Studio Operations • Assist with the sourcing and procurement of furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials • Track and manage orders, deliveries, and vendor communications • Organize and maintain the materials library and sample inventory • Coordinate with vendors and fabricators for quotes, lead times, and pricing • Support the team with general studio organization and administrative tasks Design & Technical Support • Assist in preparing client presentations and design documentation • Help maintain project files, schedules, and documentation • Support the design team with product research and mood board development • Open to learning Revit and other design software to assist with drafting or modeling as needed Marketing & Social Media • Assist in content creation for social media (Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) • Draft newsletters, blog posts, or case studies for marketing campaigns • Update and maintain website content as needed • Organize and archive project photography and assets Qualifications • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail • Proactive, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience with or interest in interior design, architecture, or a related field • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing principles • Basic design software knowledge (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) a plus • Willingness to learn Revit and other industry tools Bonus Skills (Not Required but Nice to Have) • Experience in interior design or procurement • Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, or SketchUp • Photography or content creation skills • Knowledge of design industry vendors and materials What We Offer • A collaborative, creative, and supportive studio environment • Opportunities for mentorship and skill development • Exposure to all facets of a boutique design and architecture practice • Room for growth as your skills and responsibilities evolve To Apply: Please send your resume, a brief cover letter, and any relevant work samples or portfolio links to jobs@byatelierdesign.com.
