Structural Detailer

Structural Detailer Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Structural Detailer to join our design team as a full time employee. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise structural drawings and models, supporting the development of construction documents, and collaborating with engineers and architects to ensure accurate project execution. Proficiency in various CAD and 3D modeling software is essential to deliver high-quality detailed designs that meet project specifications and standards. Position will be Located in Green, OH. Essential Functions: · Develop detailed structural drawings and 3D models using CAD software such as AutoCAD, AdvanceSteel, and TEKLA · Assist in structural, architectural, and interior design projects by providing detailed drafting and modeling support. · Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts into accurate technical drawings. · Prepare construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and details for fabrication and installation. · Review and revise drawings based on project feedback while ensuring compliance with industry standards. · Utilize Bluebeam for markup review and document management throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications: · Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Tekla, AdvanceSteel or similar platforms. · Knowledge of AISC drafting standards, construction processes, and structural design principles. · There is an emphasis on miscellaneous, ornamental, and structural metals · Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately. · Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. · Effective communication skills for collaborating within multidisciplinary teams. · 3-5yrs of prior experience in structural and miscellaneous detailing is required. · US Citizenship Benefits: · 401(k) · Holiday, Vacation, & Sick Pay · Health, Dental, Vision, & Life Insurance · Education Assistance · Growth Potential Please send your resume to tkiser@podgrp.com if interested!
