Position Overview
We are seeking a strong Intermediate Interior Designer to join our Los Angeles studio. This is a full-time, in-office role for a well-rounded designer with experience across both residential and commercial projects, and a strong technical foundation.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident developing design concepts, producing detailed drawing packages, and seeing projects through from early design phases to final installation. You will work closely with our team, clients, and vendors, playing an integral role in maintaining the level of quality and precision our studio is known for.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and refine design concepts across a range of residential and commercial projects Produce detailed drawing sets, including construction documents and specifications Source and specify FF&E, materials, and finishes Coordinate with clients, vendors, team members and fabricators Develop and design project concepts, prepare presentation materials, and lead client presentations to communicate design intent Support and oversee project installations to ensure alignment with design intent Manage timelines, budgets, and project deliverables Conduct site visits to maintain quality and consistency throughout execution
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field 4+ years of professional experience post-graduation Strong experience in both residential and commercial design Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and relevant design software Proven ability to produce comprehensive drawing packages Experience with custom furniture, millwork, and bespoke design elements Strong FF&E knowledge and sourcing experience Understanding of luxury materials, finishes, and furnishings Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working with high-profile clients and expectations A collaborative mindset with the ability to take initiative
