We are searching for an Intermediate Strategic Workplace Designer with expertise in design strategy, experience master planning, change engagement, and consultancy services to support our Strategy Studio. In this role, you will assist the team and key client projects across diverse sectors by shaping strategic content, insights, and recommendations.
As part of an integrated and diverse team from various backgrounds, you should possess a strong understanding of client interaction, analytical problem solving, strategic design thinking, and compelling visual communication. While you will primarily support a Senior Strategist, you may also take the lead on specific initiatives, contributing to practice development and new business opportunities.
JOB DUTIES
• Assist in project setup, mobilization, and coordination.
• Design tools and methods for engaging activities.
• Facilitate engagement activities and capture valuable feedback.
• Extract relevant insights from research and analysis.
• Analyze various datasets to derive metrics and findings.
• Create engaging data visualizations, illustrations, and graphics.
• Develop actionable strategic recommendations.
• Compile final deliverables, such as strategic briefs.
• Conduct quality control reviews of work.
• Present findings to diverse audiences, supporting project delivery and business development.
• Engage in project retrospectives to refine processes continuously.
• Collect and maintain benchmarking data for projects.
• Perform administrative tasks to support the senior team.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
• Graduate degree in architecture, design, psychology, or business.
• Equivalent experience may be considered.
• 2-3 years of professional experience in the architecture or design industry.
• At least 1 year of experience in design strategy, experience design, or consultancy services.
• Work collaboratively under the guidance of a senior team member, leading specific project aspects.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Strong design and consulting skills.
• Ability to apply place strategy focusing on analytics and problem solving.
• Experience in human-centered design thinking and master planning.
• Knowledge of change management principles, including communications and engagement strategies.
• Familiarity with design guides related to density and space planning.
• Proactive approach to business development, cultivating leads and pitches.
• Commitment to thought leadership through independent learning and sharing insights with the team.
