Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Interior Design Specialist to join our team. This dynamic role integrates interior design, space planning, and project management, ensuring that office environments are functional, visually compelling, and aligned with business goals.
This specialist will lead the design planning and execution of office space projects, from concept through completion. They will develop drawings and presentations for internal stakeholders to communicate design intent and spatial solutions.
The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to gather business intelligence for move sequencing and relocation logistics. They will manage the procurement and coordination of furniture systems, ensuring alignment with company standards.
This role requires strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate lease reviews, space planning, and property evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design planning and execution of office space projects
• Develop drawings and presentations for internal stakeholders
• Collaborate cross-functionally to gather business intelligence
• Manage the procurement and coordination of furniture systems
• Serve as a liaison between local offices, vendors, project teams, and property management
• Oversee construction management for office buildouts and expansions
• Ensure compliance with corporate workplace design standards
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
A strong understanding of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Proficiency in space planning, property evaluations, and real estate lease reviews is also required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• NCIQ or IIDA certification
• Familiarity with corporate design standards and sustainable design practices
• Experience managing multisite office projects or working within a large corporate real estate portfolio
