Are you a creative, organized, and detail-oriented individual who loves to work with people? If so, then IKEA is looking for you as our new Store Interior Design Manager! In this role, you will be responsible for leading an in-store design team and enhancing our customers' experience in the store. You will be working closely with the store team, customers, and suppliers to ensure that the store's interior design meets the highest standards of quality and functionality.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Visual Merchandising, or a related field. You must have at least 5 years of relevant experience in visual merchandising, interior design, or retail store management. You must have excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and a customer-centric attitude. Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of in-store design professionals in creating a visually appealing and functional interior design for the store.
Ensure that the store’s interior design meets the highest standards of quality and functionality.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and store team members.
Keep up to date on current design trends and develop innovative designs that will enhance the customer experience in the store.
Oversee the selection and procurement of materials, fixtures, and products that will be used in the store’s interior design.
Create and implement visual merchandising plans to ensure the store’s interior design is consistent with IKEA’s brand identity.
Monitor and evaluate the store’s interior design and make adjustments as needed.
Prepare and present design proposals to the store team and customers.
Ensure that all projects are completed within the allocated budget and timeline.
Develop and maintain a safe work environment in the store.
