Starbase Design Visionary

Spaceport Designer, Interior Design In this exciting role, you will lead the interior design and overall aesthetic vision for projects across Starbase. As part of the Starbase Development team, you will oversee the development of projects from concept to execution. • We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders and end users to define project requirements, evaluate project feasibility and perform spatial planning • Duties will include preparing design development documents, presentations, renders and material pallets to communicate design intent, as well as creating detailed drawings, elevations, sections, specifications, and schedules • You will compile a comprehensive database of existing finishes and FF&E specifications, manage color & material studio, and maintain consistent design standards across the Starbase campus • A successful candidate will be able to manage procurement and oversee installation of design elements, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to derive design details, and possess strong problem-solving skills Candidates should have experience in project control tasks, such as project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control, with a focus on designing elements to meet target budgets and resolving design and construction conflicts in real time
