As a Senior Project Designer, you’ll shape high-impact environments across multiple industries while mentoring emerging talent, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving design excellence from concept through completion. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field • 3+ years of experience • Proficient in AutoCAD, CET, and space planning tools • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members • Strong visualization and presentation skills, with an eye for detail and function • Ability to interpret and translate complex client needs into actionable design solutions • Exceptional communication, time management, and organizational skills Responsibilities Design Development & Space Planning • Develop creative space plans that align with client goals and approve budgets • Select furniture, finishes, and materials to support project vision and performance requirements • Prepare complete, accurate design presentations, including drawings, renderings, and sample boards • Translate design intent into technical documentation for installation and procurement Project & Process Coordination • Collaborate with account managers throughout the project lifecycle • Conduct quality control checks before order entry and post-order acknowledgements • Create clear, actionable project documentation to ensure smooth handoffs to installation teams Client & Team Communication • Present design concepts internally and externally with professionalism and clarity • Balance multiple projects with competing deadlines while maintaining attention to detail • Represent Contract Design with a solutions-oriented, customer-first approach Key Attributes • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members • Self-starter with a proactive, resourceful approach • Passionate about design excellence and problem solving • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service and follow-through • Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Position Details • Location: Spokane, WA • Full Time: On-Site • M-F: 8:30a-5:00p About Contract Design We are a full-service MillerKnoll dealership serving eastern Washington and northern Idaho.
