About this role

Role Overview As a Sr. Interior Architect/Designer & Project Lead, you will be responsible for steering interior architecture projects from concept through construction, ensuring that each project reflects a commitment to excellence, timeless design, and collaborative execution. Key Responsibilities • Lead conceptual development, mood boards, space planning, and design narratives. • Champion design quality from early visioning through to construction detailing. • Guide FF&E strategies, selections, and specifications in coordination with team members. • Present design ideas clearly and convincingly to clients and collaborators. • Manage all project phases: programming, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to align schedules, budgets, and resourcing. • Ensure project deliverables meet studio standards and contractual obligations. • Oversee documentation workflows in Revit, including coordination with technical team members. • Maintain weekly project status updates and track performance against key milestones. • Manage construction administration tasks as required by project scope. • Mentor and oversee junior designers and technical staff; conduct weekly design reviews ahead of principal sign-off. • Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance studio culture. • Uphold professional integrity, confidentiality, and operational excellence. Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture (required). • NCIDQ certification, AIA membership, or LEED/WELL accreditation is a strong plus. • Minimum 7+ years of professional experience, with a record of leading projects through all design and construction phases. • Portfolio must include built work and clearly show strength across programming, schematic design, design development, and documentation. • Strong knowledge of workplace, hospitality, and/or mixed-use projects preferred. • Demonstrated ability to balance creative vision with technical constraints, budget, and timelines. • Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite. • Deep understanding of materials, furniture, lighting, and finish specification workflows. • Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
