Spring 2025 - Interior Design Intern in GAC Savannah Unique Skills: This is an in person Spring internship that will be posted until 10/13/2024. Interviews will start in November. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide effective assistance with presentations (sample boards, renderings, drawings) of aircraft design concepts incorporating customers requirements to achieve marketing objectives and to meet all FAA requirements • Interface with interior design to develop effective presentations for aircraft refurbishments and/or completions. • Assist in coordinating all fabric material inquiries and reserves to check for availability for assigned aircraft • Organize, prepare, distribute and file materials and data to help establish and maintain effective communication and information systems within the design department. • Support completion design as required. • Knowledge of design principles, color science, textile, carpet, and leather techniques. • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Additional Functions: • Time management, space planning, self-starter, ability to work without constant oversight. • Maintain organization and cleanliness of sample library Education and Experience Requirements: • Currently seeking a bachelors or masters degree in Interior Design in a full time capacity. • Junior level or above. • Graduating after May 2025 • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher at the time of application, and it must be noted on the resume submitted. • Must have reliable transportation to and from work for the duration of the internship. • Be available to work at least 20 hours for 14 weeks from January/February to April/May 2025. Minimum Experience Requirements: • Knowledge of design principles, color science, textile, carpet and leather techniques. • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
