Specification Writer - Architecture and Interiors

At SMRT Inc, we are seeking an experienced Specification Writer - Architecture and Interiors to join our team. As a key member of our architecture and engineering group, this role will be responsible for writing and editing technical specifications for various projects. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of specification writing experience in the field of architecture, with a strong understanding of building codes, building systems, and construction material standards. Proficiency in e-SPECS, SpecLink, MasterSpec, or other similar specification programs is highly desired. In this role, you will work collaboratively with project teams to develop, improve, and maintain master specifications across all markets. You will also perform product research, provide technical guidance to project teams, and participate in QA/QC reviews for compliance between specifications and contract documents.
