Space Planner and Design Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Space Planner and Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients by creating designs and specifications associated with contract furniture applications. Your primary focus will be on working with our sales team to generate and/or coordinate conceptual drawings, space planning, and schematic furniture plans, 3D renderings, product specifications, installation drawings, and finish selections. You will use industry-standard software to perform all work, ensuring that our designs meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. Requirements • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) focusing on Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited program • At least 3-5 years of professional experience within the contract furniture industry preferred • Proficiency using AutoCAD, Microsoft Office programs, and Adobe Acrobat • Preferred experience using CET, and Adobe Creative Suite, some Revit Key Skills and Abilities • Strong communication and presentation skills • Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize effectively • Exceptional attention to detail • Able to work well in team formats • Superb work ethic – dependable, disciplined, industrious • Aptitude for problem-solving • Physical ability to field verify project sites (i.e., field measure, product inventory, etc.) – involves standing, walking, bending Benefits • Medical insurance • Vision insurance • 401(k) • Disability insurance
