Space Design Specialist • Develop aesthetically pleasing spaces and meet clients' needs by working with entities to maximize available space. Experienced Interior Designers or Space Planners can shape workspaces for employees, libraries, and public areas. Manage projects, schedule furniture delivery, coordinate staff moves, and manage space data. Key Responsibilities: • Utilize AutoCAD to manipulate drawings and ensure accuracy. • Lead project management for large furniture layouts and straightforward to moderately complex layouts. • Comprehensive knowledge of systems furniture. • Strong understanding of architectural, interior design, and technological components. • Responsible for space data management, analysis/reporting, programming, and planning of space and occupant relocation. • Work with business leaders to understand current and future space needs. • Determine space availability and preparation of space. • Develop space solutions to address occupancy or relocation requests. • Coordinate building space, office layouts, furniture, and cubicles for moves and changes. • Create fit, finish, and furniture plans. • Facilitate furniture procurement and reconfigurations. • Manage relocations from beginning to end. • Collaborate with architects, designers, and construction managers in site development. Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field with 2 years of experience or equivalent professional experience. Essential Skills: • Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and CAP2020 software. • Strong background in commercial interior design and systems furniture knowledge.
