Site/Space Planner 1

Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a Site/Space Planner 1 to join their team. As a Site/Space Planner 1, you will be part of the Facilities Management Department supporting workplace planning and space optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Site/Space Planner 1 Location: Rochester, NY (onsite) Pay: $30-$34/hr M-F, 8a-5p What's the Job? Enter, track, and close employee move-related work orders in the work order management system Coordinate and schedule contract labor such as movers and furniture installers to support daily move activities Serve as a point of contact for move-related requests, providing clear communication and status updates to employees and internal stakeholders Maintain and update the occupancy and space management database to ensure accurate headcount and seating information Support move planning for small- to medium-scale employee relocations across multiple buildingsWhat's Needed? Proficient in using space planning & design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills for effective space utilization Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects Clear communication and presentation skills to articulate planning concepts and proposals Knowledge of applicable building codes, ADA requirements, and occupational standardsWhat's in it for me?
