(ADG), headquartered in Norcross, Georgia, has an immediate opening for a Showroom Assistant within our ADG HOME Interiors division.This position is ideal for an energetic, customer-focused professional with experience in the home furnishings industry who enjoys working with Interior Designers, Custom Builders, Architects, and Design-Build professionals.If you have worked in a to-the-trade showroom , are an Interior Designer , or have experience selling luxury home furnishings, we would like to hear from you.About Atlanta Design GroupAtlanta Design Group is a full-service interior design support and design-build company comprised of 10 specialized wholesale brands serving the interior design and construction industries.Our services include:Luxury Furniture & AccessoriesLightingKitchen & BathOutdoor LivingFine Art & FramingSpecialty Construction ProductsRenovationsClosets & Organized StorageWhite-Glove Receiving & InstallationLogistics & Project ManagementADG HOME Interiors represents many of the industry's premier furniture, upholstery, lighting, and accessory manufacturers, offering products ranging from affordable luxury to high-end custom furnishings for both residential and commercial projects.Position SummaryThe Showroom Assistant serves as an integral member of the ADG HOME team by supporting Interior Designers throughout the entire sales process—from product selection through order placement, tracking, and project completion.This position requires exceptional customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and a thorough understanding of furniture and upholstery ordering procedures.Primary ResponsibilitiesAssist Interior Designers with furniture and accessory selectionsProcess furniture and upholstery orders with manufacturersPrepare quotations and proposalsFollow orders from placement through deliveryCoordinate with manufacturers regarding production schedules, acknowledgments, freight, and claimsMaintain showroom merchandising and product displaysAssist with client presentations and product sourcingPerform business development through email marketing and networkingDevelop and maintain relationships with Interior Designers, Builders, Architects, and Design-Build firmsDeliver exceptional customer service throughout every stage of the projectQualificationsMinimum 2–5 years of experience in:Interior Design; orA retail furniture showroom; orA wholesale "to-the-trade" furniture showroomHome furnishings and interior design experience requiredExperience processing upholstery and custom furniture orders with manufacturersStrong organizational and follow-up skillsOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsExcellent customer service and relationship-building abilitiesSelf-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple projectsPositive, energetic, professional, and results-orientedExcellent attention to detail and time managementProficiency with Microsoft Word and ExcelQuick Books experience preferredCompensationCompetitive base salary (commensurate with experience)Commission programCurrent position earnings range from approximately $75,000–$85,000 annually (base salary plus commission)BenefitsAfter 60 days of employment, employees are eligible for:Medical Insurance (Company pays 50% of the employee premium)Vision InsuranceDental Insurance401(k) with Company Match (currently 3%)Paid Time Off (PTO)Vacation:1 week after 6 months2 weeks after 1 year3 weeks after 3 yearsMonday–Friday Schedule8:00 AM – 5:00 PMNo WeekendsJoin the ADG FamilyIf you are looking for more than just another showroom position and want to become part of one of the Southeast's fastest-growing design support organizations, we encourage you to apply.To learn more about Atlanta Design Group, visit:
