Set Designer – Onsite

This role involves designing a dedicated podcast and content room for a legal immigration-focused boutique firm in Los Angeles. The selected set designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing a visually engaging, functional, and brand-aligned studio environment tailored for high-quality audio and video content production. The project requires onsite collaboration throughout its duration, with the potential for future assignments based on performance and project outcomes. Responsibilities • Develop creative concepts and mood boards for the podcast/content room, reflecting the firm's brand and content goals • Plan and execute the layout, including furniture, lighting, acoustic treatments, and decorative elements to optimize for both video and audio recording • Source and coordinate with vendors for materials, furnishings, and equipment • Oversee installation and ensure all design elements are implemented to specification • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to incorporate feedback and adjust designs as needed • Ensure the set is functional, visually appealing, and adaptable for various content formats • Manage project timelines and deliverables to meet agreed deadlines Skills And Requirements • Proven experience in set design for studios, podcasts, or content creation spaces • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical expertise in set design • Proficiency in design software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite) • In-depth knowledge of lighting, acoustics, and spatial planning for media production • Excellent communication and project management skills • Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles for the full project duration • Experience collaborating with clients and vendors in a professional setting • Mid-level to senior or expert experience in set design required About Twine Twine is a leading freelance marketplace connecting top freelancers, consultants, and contractors with companies needing creative and tech expertise.
