Senior Spaceport Interior Architect

Spaceport Designer, Interior Design This is a pivotal role within the Starbase Development team, where you will spearhead the interior design and overall aesthetic vision for projects across Starbase. As a key member of the team, you will oversee all phases of projects from concept development through execution. • We are seeking an individual who can effectively coordinate with stakeholders and end users to define project requirements, evaluate project feasibility and perform spatial planning • Responsibilities include preparing design development documents, presentations, renders and material pallets to communicate design intent, as well as producing drawings, elevations, sections, specifications, and schedules with attention to detail • You will be responsible for compiling a database of existing finishes and FF&E specifications, managing color & material studio, and ensuring consistency and maintenance of design standards sitewide • The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to manage procurement and oversee installation of design elements, and collaborate with cross-departmental teams to derive design details for functional and utility needs Suitable candidates will have experience in project control tasks, including project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control, with a focus on designing elements to meet target budgets and resolving design and construction conflicts in real time
