About This Role Transform Homes Through Thoughtful Design and Collaboration Job Description We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented designer to lead the design phase of residential remodeling and addition projects from concept to completion. As a member of our team, you will collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and lifestyle, translating them into functional and beautiful design solutions. You will prepare detailed drawings, finish selections, and material specifications that align with project budgets and build feasibility. Additionally, you will work hand-in-hand with our in-house estimators, project managers, and carpenters to ensure seamless design-to-construction execution. Required Skills and Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of professional residential interior design experience, preferably within a design-build or remodeling firm. • Strong portfolio showcasing creative, client-centered residential design work. • Proficiency in Chief Architect, SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar design software. • Excellent visualization, space planning, and material selection skills. • Knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and finish materials. • Exceptional client communication, presentation, and project coordination abilities.
