Skills • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Knowledge of interior finishes, furniture, building codes, and construction processes • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, InDesign preferred • Familiarity with CAP Software and/or CET Designer preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications Responsibilities • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously • Conduct programming interviews with clients • Provide documentation for estimating project budgets • Interface with sales, architecture, engineering, digital, and construction teams • Generate interior design concepts and finalize designs • Lead team members and guide all project disciplines • Conduct site surveys for existing locations • Respond to clients and project executives in a timely manner • Present concepts, interior finish drawings, and furniture drawings to clients • Manage development of construction documents • Review construction documents and project manuals, providing necessary redlines • Review furniture specifications and installation drawings, providing feedback • Review submittals, shop drawings, and address RFIs • Attend project walkthroughs and prepare documentation • Complete projects on schedule and within budget • Perform any other related work as assigned Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field required • 10+ years of professional experience in commercial interior design required • NCIDQ Certification required • LEED or WELL accreditation preferred Education Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field required Education Requirements Credential Category • NCIDQ Certification required Experience Requirements • 10+ years of professional experience in commercial interior design • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Applications • Experience with CAP Software and/or CET Designer preferred Why work in Chicago, IL Chicago offers a vibrant urban environment rich in culture, arts, and dining experiences.
