Skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of interior finishes, furniture, building codes, and construction processes
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and InDesign (preferred)
• Familiarity with CAP Software and/or CET Designer (preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
Responsibilities
• Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
• Conduct programming interviews with clients
• Provide documentation to support project budget estimates
• Collaborate with sales, architecture, engineering, digital, and construction teams
• Generate and finalize interior design concepts
• Lead team members and guide all disciplines on projects
• Conduct site surveys for existing locations
• Respond to clients and project executives promptly
• Present concepts, interior finish drawings, and furniture drawings to clients
• Manage the development of construction documents
• Review construction documents and provide necessary redlines
• Review furniture specifications and installation drawings
• Address submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs
• Attend project walkthroughs and prepare documentation
• Complete projects on schedule and within budget
• Perform all other related work as assigned
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field required
• 10+ years of professional experience in commercial interior design required
• NCIDQ Certification required
• LEED or WELL accreditation preferred
