Senior Interior Designer

Position Overview: We are looking for a talented Senior Interior Designer with a strong background in K-12 educational projects to join our design team. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of architectural and interior design expertise, with a focus on creating engaging, functional, and innovative learning environments. Proficiency in Revit software is essential for this role to effectively develop and manage detailed design models and documentation. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement interior design concepts for K-12 educational facilities, ensuring they meet educational, aesthetic, and functional requirements. • Collaborate with clients, educators, and project teams to create innovative and flexible learning environments. • Utilize Revit software to produce detailed 3D models, floor plans, elevations, and other design documentation. • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integration and adherence to project specifications. • Conduct site visits to assess project progress, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments. • Stay updated on industry trends, educational space design standards, and emerging technologies to inform design solutions. • Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. • 3-5 years of experience in interior design with a focus on K-12 educational projects. • Proficiency in Revit and other design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite). • Strong understanding of educational facility design standards and best practices. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders. • Creative problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
