We are hiring a Senior Interior Designer to join a highly collaborative, fast-paced studio styled team of interior designers and architects in a multi-discipline environment. We specialize in large custom homes ($10MIL+). The ideal candidate will be involved in all phases of highly technical custom... residential projects from programming, schematic design, detailed design, and construction administration. The position requires a high level of commitment to teamwork and collaboration. As a member of our team.
Responsibilities:
• Provide Interior Architectural analysis of floorplans as it pertains to circulation, key design features, materials and coordination between the architectural design and interior design flow.
• Specify and coordinate all material and finish selections.
• Ability to create and maintain all presentation material and documentation related to the design process, including renderings, specifications, interior construction drawings, finish schedules, and ensure that the design vision is accurately implemented in the field.
• Foster and continually develop vendor and trade relationships, and sub-contractor relationships.
• Seek out new, relevant and efficient design and construction products, details and pricing.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize project workload and time sensitive tasks while tracking and reporting all billable project hours accurately.
• Ability to autonomously produce a full set of Interior Design construction documents i.e. Floorplans, RCPs, Finish Plans, Elevations, Details and specifications.
• Ability to travel to job-sites for filed verifications.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
Essential Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior Architecture, or higher
• Min. of 10 years of Interior Design Experience in Luxury residential or Hospitality design field.
• Proficiency in design related programs – Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Bluebeam, Adobe suite, Microsoft Office suite.
• Advanced knowledge of residential design planning and residential building codes.
• Confidence in presenting and working hand in hand with clientele and vendors to support and execute desired design intent
