Role Description
This is a full-time, M-F, on-site role for a Senior Interior Designer/Project Manager at Spire Design & Construction located in Englewood, CO. As a Senior Interior Designer/Project Manager you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to interior design projects and managing multiple projects at one time. Your role will involve collaborating with the design team, conducting and participating in client meetings, creating design concepts and presentation packages, developing detailed plans, selecting materials, coordinating with contractors, assisting the Director of Design as needed and overseeing the successful execution of projects. This position requires strong design skills, attention to detail, being able to juggle multiple projects at one time and excellent communication and time management abilities. You will work with and report directly to the Director of Design as well as the President/CEO of Spire Design Studio.
Qualifications
• Associate's degree (or higher) in Interior Design
• Proven experience in interior design, with a focus on Model Home Merchandising and Multi-family commercial/amenity spaces
• 3-5+ years experience in FF&E selections
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, as well as Microsoft suite programs such as Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel
• Strong understanding of space planning principles and overall good sense of design
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment as well as individually
• Attention to detail and a good eye for aesthetics
• Time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines
• Experience in project management and leadership roles is a plus
• Carries a positive attitude, and an 'always willing to help' mentality
• Ability to lift, carry and work longer hours on your feet during project installations
• Travel up to 15% as needed for project walks and installations
• Must currently live in the United States, have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
