Role Description Senior Interior Designer Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading projects from concept to completion, demonstrating creativity, technical proficiency, and exceptional attention to detail. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will play a key role in guiding the design process, collaborating with clients and team members, and delivering projects of the highest quality. Excellent presentation skills are paramount as well. Please forward your resume and portfolio to michele@micheleplachter.com This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Interior Designer located in Philadelphia, PA, with flexibility for some remote work. The Senior Interior Designer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design of commercial and residential interior spaces, collaborating with clients to determine design needs and preferences, creating design plans, and selecting materials and furnishings. The Senior Interior Designer will also oversee contractors and other design professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, and will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and client communications. Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sr. Designer in residential interior design projects. • Experience with project management, including managing budgets, timelines, and teams. • Strong design skills, including the ability to create detailed design plans and select materials and furnishings that meet clients' needs and preferences. • Understanding of building and safety codes and regulations. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of completed projects and design solutions is a plus Michele Plachter Design is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.
