The position involves working on various project types including Multi-Family Housing, Professional Offices, Hotels/Resorts, Retail, Aviation, High-end Residential, Medical/Dental, Industrial, Government Work, etc.
There is currently a major opportunity for growth at the firm that could cause the applicant to start as a Senior Interior Designer and quickly grow from there (increase in title, etc.).
What You Need To Apply For the Senior Interior Designer Position:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience
• Outstanding drafting and graphic presentation skills
• Proficiency in Revit
• Proficiency at specification writing for both finishes and FF&E
• Experience with project management and construction administration
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• The ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
• The ability to balance a budget and oversee the interior design team's billable hours
Bonus Points:
• A Interior Design degree
• IIDA, ASID, NCIDQ
• 3D rendering skills
• LEED Certified
In the Role of Senior Interior Designer, We'll Count on You to:
• Work directly with the client and manage a design project from start to finish.
• Be high performing, charismatic, out-going, resourceful, and a team player
• Mentor Jr. level Interior Designers
• Be an innovative, strategic thinker and a natural relationship-maker and leader
• Contribute to all stages of the design process: conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and FF&E move-in/installation
• Understand construction and construction administration services
• Participate in some level of business development by attending industry events and working with current and potential clients to win more work for the department (we have an in-house business development team for this, but the interior design team's workload will still be a focus)
Schedule: Full time, Monday to Friday
Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000+ annually and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education.
