Senior Interior Designer/Senior Interior Architect

This is a hybrid position, with an expectation of working in the office alongside colleagues a minimum of Tuesday through Thursday. Treanor will not sponsor work visas for this position. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, degree, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. The anticipated salary range for candidates meeting the stated requirements is $90,000 – 100,000 and will vary by the states we operate in. Primary responsibilitiesAssist architects and designers in the development of design solutions and presentation documents, including programming, space planning, concept design, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administrationFormulate designs that are practical, aesthetic, and conducive to intended purposesAssist with marketing and business development efforts, providing quality service to existing clients as well as developing project leads and securing new projects.Understand the furniture market, procurement, and specification proceduresKnowledgeable in building codes, construction documentation and interior material specificationResearch interior products and apply established interior design standardsPerform routine checking and/or verification tasksProvide team with regular updates on status, issues, or challenges related to projectsPerform site surveys and documentationMaintain project records and resource materialsPosition requirementsBachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior ArchitectureNCIDQ Certified10-15 years of practical design experience. See internal comps belowExcellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with teams across multiple officesHighly proficient with Revit, Sketchup, Photoshop, Inscape, and the Adobe Suite of software programsStrong technical & technology skillsComplete understanding of the commercial furniture market, and specificationsAble to work as a team member and assist other Studios as necessaryWilling to travel outside of local area to attend meetings at various sites (25%)High levels of activity and productivity; Self-directed and able to take independent initiativeExcellent attention to detailCreative problem-solving capabilitiesAble to clearly convey information and ideas verbally and graphically through hand sketches and/or RevitAble to quickly grasp new conceptsAble to work on multiple projects
