Position Overview OHO INTERIORS is seeking a creative, ambitious, and collaborative Senior Interior Designer with extensive residential construction design and project management experience to join our growing team. This full‑time role requires the ability to travel and demands a self‑starter who is highly organized, attentive to detail, and adept at creative problem‑solving in a boutique studio environment. Salary: Pay Dependent on Experience. Location: Warehouse District of Minneapolis with occasional travel opportunities. Schedule: Full‑time. Key Responsibilities Draft technical drawings including floor plans, elevations, and custom furniture plans. Source materials and selections for new construction, renovation, and furnishing projects. Prepare client presentations and develop comprehensive construction documentation. Coordinate directly with build team partners, consultants, and vendors to ensure design execution on site. Lead the creative and conceptual stages of projects alongside the Principal Designer, including custom furniture design. Oversee and verify the accuracy of technical documentation and project specifications. Mentor junior team members and contribute to setting internal design standards and guidelines. Manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring timely communication and updates to leadership. Required Qualifications Proficient in AutoCAD, Google Sheets, and current technologies (Dropbox, Slack, Canva, Keynote, etc.). Minimum of 5 years of experience in a design firm setting with dedicated expertise in leading and project managing large-scale, highly custom residential construction projects. Demonstrated experience handling all aspects of full‑service design projects from conception to completion. Strong project leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior designers. Exceptional attention to detail and a mindset of creative problem‑solving. Financial understanding of project costs and budget management. Excellent professional communication skills, both written and verbal. A proactive nature, with strong instincts and openness to constructive feedback.
