About this role

Overview We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles and a passion for transforming spaces into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. This role requires proficiency in various design software and the ability to manage projects from concept through execution. Responsibilities • Collaborate with clients to determine their needs and preferences for interior spaces. • Develop design concepts and present them to clients using sketches, renderings, and mood boards. • Utilize software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite to create detailed design plans. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budgets. • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications. • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other professionals involved in the renovation or construction process. • Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and technologies related to interior design. • Prepare contracts and negotiate terms with clients and suppliers as necessary. • Provide guidance on lighting design, color theory, and material selection for optimal results. Experience • Proven experience in interior design or a related field is essential. • Proficiency in design software including SketchUp, Bluebeam, AutoCAD and Revit is required. • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee all phases of a project from inception to completion. • Knowledge of drafting techniques and construction processes is beneficial. • Experience in sales related to lighting or renovation projects is a plus. • Familiarity with budgeting practices for interior design projects is advantageous.
