Responsibilities -Excellent project management and leadership skills -Ability to lead and supervise direct reports and other members of the team -Ability to collaborate with and project manage alongside builders, architects, etc. -Working directly with clients and acting as primary contact in a number of projects -Working directly with the principal and the rest of the design team to collaborate and execute both short and long term design projects -Strong knowledge of construction documents, e.g. floor plans, elevations, lighting plans, etc. -Strong knowledge of FF&E; sourcing, industry vendors, etc. -Preparing, managing and maintaining all project correspondence and documents -Preparing client presentations and construction documents -Assist with installations, measuring appointments, etc. -Correspond and interact with clients, contractors, vendors, etc., in a professional manner Requirements -Prior experience as a senior designer at another firm -5-8 years of prior design experience preferred -Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and/or Architecture -Experienced with Photoshop, CAD, SketchUp -Experience with Ivy, Slack and Asana would also be helpful -Attention to detail -Ability to communicate well with people in person, over the phone and in email correspondence -Multitasker and highly organized -Ideally located in the East Bay or San Francisco -Must have car -Must be Covid vaccinated COMPENSATION Salary commensurate with experience Health insurance Ability to work remotely for part of the work week, 2 days in office required 401k matching Annual bonus Reimbursement for professional dues and approved classes Salary: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Parental leave Professional development assistance Referral program Tuition reimbursement Schedule: 8 hour shift Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay Commission pay COVID-19 considerations: All members of the team must be vaccinated Ability to commute/relocate: Berkeley, CA 94705: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Education: Bachelor's (Required) Work Location: One location
