Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Senior Interior Designer to lead innovative design projects from concept through completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape inspiring interior environments that blend functionality with aesthetic excellence. As a senior member of our design team, you will collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and contractors to deliver exceptional results that elevate spaces and exceed expectations. Your expertise in design software, project management, and technical detailing will drive the success of diverse residential, commercial, and renovation projects. Responsibilities • Lead the development of comprehensive interior design concepts, ensuring alignment with client vision, budget, and project scope. • Create detailed drawings and presentations using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design ideas effectively. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously by coordinating schedules, budgets, and resources to meet deadlines without compromising quality. • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences while providing expert guidance on color theory, lighting design, materials selection, and space planning. • Oversee the drafting process for construction documents and contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. • Liaise with contractors and vendors during renovation and remodeling phases to ensure seamless execution of designs. • Conduct site visits for inspections, quality control, and to resolve any on-site challenges related to construction or installation. • Assist in lighting sales efforts by designing lighting solutions that enhance ambiance while aligning with project budgets and specifications. Requirements • Proven experience as a Senior Interior Designer or similar role within a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D, 3ds Max, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite for drafting and rendering purposes. • Strong understanding of interior design principles such as color theory, space planning, lighting design, and material selection. • Experience managing projects from initial concept through construction completion with excellent project management skills. • Knowledge of contracts law related to interior design projects and renovation processes. • Ability to coordinate with vendors for lighting sales and other product procurement needs. • Familiarity with budgeting processes including cost estimation and financial management of projects. • Excellent communication skills for presenting ideas clearly to clients and collaborating effectively with team members. • Additional skills such as experience with Bluebeam for document management or Revit for building information modeling (BIM) are highly desirable.
