DLR Group is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join our integrated design team. This role, based in Overland Park, KS; Dallas, TX; or Omaha, NE, involves collaborating on project designs from pre-design and programming through construction administration. You will work closely with the Interiors Leader and Region Leader on project design efforts, client interactions, and presentations. Additionally, you will mentor staff and promote a work environment that values respect, learning, communication, and collaboration. Skills
• Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, SketchUp, and/or 3D rendering software
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple offices
Responsibilities
• Collaborate on the design of projects from pre-design to construction administration
• Mentor junior staff and foster an environment of learning and collaboration
• Lead internal project reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Contribute to the development of Construction Documents and specifications
• Participate in marketing and business development activities
• Generate design support tools and engage in firm research and development projects
Qualifications
• 10 years of commercial design experience
• NCIDQ (or equivalent) license
• Strong time management skills
• Active involvement in relevant Campus market sector organizations
Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or equivalent

Experience Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in commercial design
• Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-disciplinary team atmosphere
