Skills
• 6-10 years of experience as an interior designer focused on hospitality
• Proficient in Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and SketchUp; knowledge of 3-D Studio Max and Rhino preferred
• Strong knowledge of design processes, FF&E, custom case goods specifications, furniture systems, color, and materials
• Outstanding graphic presentation skills
• Ability to craft and communicate compelling design narratives
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and relationship management skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage client expectations and coordinate communications
Responsibilities
• Collaborate on Hospitality interiors projects, from programming client needs to construction documentation
• Create and develop materiality and design strategies to support experiential design
• Develop space planning concepts and generate program documents
• Participate in the selection of furniture systems and specifications
• Coordinate with project teams to finalize plans, FF&E specifications, and material selections
• Work with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to meet project objectives
• Participate in construction administration and review of submittals and finish samples
Qualifications
• 6-10 years of relevant experience in interior design
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• NCIDQ preferred but not required; support for licensure is encouraged
