Skills • 8+ years of related experience in interior design, focusing on workplace and hospitality • Highly proficient in Revit • Strong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and SketchUp; experience with 3-D Studio Max and Rhino preferred • Understanding of FF&E and custom casegood specifications, furniture systems, color, and materials • Knowledge in designing and detailing custom millwork • Outstanding graphic presentation skills • Strong leadership and organizational abilities • Ability to communicate design ideas quickly and effectively Responsibilities • Collaborate on workplace interiors projects, from programming client needs to design documentation • Participate in project visioning to create a compelling design narrative • Develop materiality and design strategies that support experiential design and brand storytelling • Generate space planning concepts and corresponding program documents • Select furniture systems and specifications • Support project team coordination for construction plans, specifications, and material selections • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to meet project objectives • Participate in construction administration and review project submittals and samples • Manage client expectations and coordinate team communications Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture • NCIDQ or AIA preferred but not required; working toward licensure is supported • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead project teams • Strong sense of design vision and the ability to craft compelling narratives through design Education Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture Education Requirements Credential Category • Professional degree in a design-related field Experience Requirements • 8+ years of relevant experience in interior design focused on workplace and hospitality projects.
